We had another busy week in kindergarten! Some of our upcoming objectives are as follows:
Language Arts
*Placing letters in alphabetical order
* Identifying the initial sounds in words
*Reading and coding words and matching them to their pictures
* Independent journal writing
* Correcting sentence mistakes
Math
* Filling- in the odd numbers on a clock
*Identifying lines of symmetry
* Identifying the hour/minute hands on a clock
*Telling time to the hour
* Comparing the height/length of objects
* Filling-in the even numbers on a clock
* Counting by 2's
Religion
* Learning that "Air is Good"
*We will learn about Ascension Thursday
* We will continue crowning Mary in our classroom
