  • Tuesday, sixth grade will go to Golden Living for mass.
  • Thursday is the golf tournament.

Eighth Grade ILA:

  • TAMING OF THE SHREW PRACTICE!

 

Eighth Grade Social Studies:

  • We will start Unit 9: Challenges at Home and Abroad (1945-1975)
  • The first chapter in Unit 9 is Chapter 27: The Cold War Era. 
  • We will also continue working on the research papers on World War II.

 

Seventh Grade ILA:

  • We will be reading “Last Cover” by Paul Annixter.  We will continue to discuss how setting plays a key role in fiction, and we will be discussing various ways that major and minor characters drive the plot.
  • The vocabulary/spelling words are: bleak, confound, essence, harried, invalid, passive, predestined, sanction, sanctuary, wily.

 

Seventh Grade Social Studies:

  • We will finish Chapter 11 by discussing the Culture and Lifestyles of Europe.  We will be having a small quiz on Chapter 11, Section 2 on Wednesday.
  • We will start Chapter 12: Europe Today.
